More than two days after an SIT was constituted to probe the alleged murder of a 28-year-old married woman Parampreet Kaur in Patiala,the former Patiala mayor Jaspal Singh Pardhan,who is one of the accused,is yet to be questioned. Meanwhile,the other two accused husband of the victim and her mother-in-law are being interrogated by the SIT.

MC budget to be discussed today

The budget of the Municipal Corporation for 2013-14 will come up for discussion on Thursday. A budget of Rs 637. 85 crore has been proposed. The meeting is likely to witness heated discussions with the budget proposed this year being less than what was proposed in the last financial year.
