Cement rates not reduced,alleges CPM

The CPM district committee on Wednesday accused the state government of falsely claiming that cement prices fell by Rs 25 per bag.

The CPM district committee on Wednesday accused the state government of falsely claiming that cement prices fell by Rs 25 per bag. CPM claimed that buyers were still paying up to Rs 325 to 345 per bag. Hence,there was a reduction of only Rs 10 per bag.
