BJYM holds signature campaign in Sec 37

With an aim to create awareness about the problems being faced by the common man under the Congress-led UPA government,the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha on Friday organised a signature campaign in Sector 37 market under the nationwide “Congress Hatao,Desh Bachao”.

The national president of BJYM Anurag Thakur had on July 26 announced the start of the campaign during a visit to the city. The signatures collected would be submitted to President Pranab Mukherjee. The campaign would go on till August 9 in different parts of the city.

BJP general secretary and councillor Arun Sood addressed the youth and said that inflation and corruption were rampant under the Congress regime and the common man was reeling under its effects. The youths were affected as unemployment had rendered them jobless.

The programme was led by BJYM state secretary Rohit Sharma and district president Sanjeev Verma. President of city unit of the morcha Maheshinder Singh Sidhu was present. The shopkeepers of the area and those visiting the market were asked to sign.
