BJP MP from Hamirpur, Anurag Thakur, said cheap and good quality sanitary napkins will be made and distributed to women in his constituency. Self-help groups and mahila mandals will be part of the campaign.
"Modi factor is very much there in Himachal, PM’s works are appreciated here. Earlier, they were saying there was no Modi factor in UP, Uttarakhand and Assam, but we won everywhere because of this factor only."
New Delhi, Mar 01 (ANI): Speaking on the Himachal Government’s demand for a change in venue of the match between India and Pakistan in the T20 World Cup, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Anurag Thakur on Tuesday said sports should be free from every political prejudice. Thakur said the venues of the T20 World Cup matches were decided one year in advance, adding that there is no point of raising an objection now. He emphasised that showing the disability to organise the match between the two nations will definitely tarnish the image of India.
Stressing that it was important to sit across the table and talk to Pakistan, BCCI Secretary Anurag Thakur said that cricket could pave the way for other issues, such as terrorism and trade, to be discussed.
