City-based cultural organisation,Pracheen Kala Kendra is organising its 166th monthly baithak featuring acclaimed flautist Ravinder Singh,a disciple of Jagdish Mittar,who is a well-known vocalist at All India Radio,Jalandhar. Singh has given several prestigious performances under the auspices of cultural affairs departments of Punjab and Haryana,Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Academy,Punjab Arts Council besides programmes sponsored by ICCR. He has the distinction of providing music direction to several plays,musical operas and feature films. The flute recital will be held on July 11 at 6.30 pm at the Bhaskar Rao Indoor Auditorium of the Kendra in Sector 35.
