Thalassaemic Children Welfare Association,Chandigarh,organised its 124th blood donation camp,the second in the series of six camps at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research,Chandigarh,on Saturday.
Nearly 280 people donated blood at the camp,which was inaugurated by Vijuy Ronjan,deputy general manager,State Bank of India. The camp was conducted by a team of doctors and technicians headed by Dr Neelam Marwaha,head of Department of Blood Transfusion,and member of Medical Advisory Board of the Association.
