(File Image)With the 15th edition of Aero India- 2025 scheduled to be held between 10 and 14 February, the Kempegowda International Airport has said that there would be temporary flight disruptions between February 5 and 14 due to airspace restrictions.
In a press statement, the airport authorities said that the restrictions will lead to a total closure of 47 hours over the 10-day period. The 15th edition of Aero India is set to take place at Yelahanka Air Force Station from February 10 to 14, with rehearsals and aerial displays being the key reasons for airspace limitations. With the airport located close to the venue, the flight operations will be affected.

Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has imposed restrictions on meat shops, sale of non-vegetarian food, and crane operations in the vicinity of the Yelahanka Air Force Station as part of standard protocols ahead of Aero India 2025 which is set to be held from February 10 to February 14.
As per the notification, all meat and fish stalls, non-vegetarian hotels and restaurants within a 13-km radius of the airbase must remain closed from January 23 to February 17, 2025. The sale and serving of non-vegetarian dishes have also been strictly prohibited during this period.
Additionally, builders have been directed to reduce the height of cranes and suspend their operations in under-construction high-rise buildings within a 10-km radius of the airbase from February 1 to February 14.
