Woman,two children jump into Tapi,one rescued

A 50-year-old woman and her two children reportedly attempted to commit suicide by jumping into Tapi river in Surat on Thursday evening. While her daughter (24) was rescued by fishermen,a search operation was on for the woman and her son (22),police said. Police took the girl to SMIMER hospital and her condition was said to be normal. The family was facing financial crisis and took the extreme step due to mental stress,police said.
