Poster war on,protesting Cong workers detained

Pamphlets and posters supporting Sanjay Joshi appeared near the BJP’s state executive meet venue on Sunday. The pamphlets,circulated by people wearing Joshi’s mask near Swaminarayan Temple,said: “I am Sanjay Joshi,I am RSS volunteer,I do not sell grazing land to the industrialists,I do not do massacre for political power,I do not cheat party’s line of thinking for becoming Prime Minister,I do not treat party workers as labour.”

A few posters in support of Joshi were also spotted in some parts of Rajkot city late on Saturday night,including on the compound wall of official residence of BJP Mayor Janak Kotak. Also,Kutch Ladayak Manch,a non-political group led by a Kutchi businessman,published advertisements in vernaculars in support of Joshi.

Meanwhile,nearly 40 Congress workers were detained while trying to reach the meeting venue. “We wanted to represent the matter of water crisis to the CM. But workers were detained,” said city Congress president Jaswantisinh Bhatti.
