Larsen & Toubro plans to employ over 10,000 engineers to its facilities in Vadodara over the next four years,thereby developing the city as one of the largest knowledge complex in the country,according to Chairman and Managing Director A M Naik,who was in the city to launch the company’s largest electrical and automation facility on Thursday. The company has created the Vadodara facility with an investment of Rs 130 crore,and plans to make a total investment of Rs 250 crore in the sector across its three facilities. “We plan to employ 2,000 people every year and we will be developing Vadodara as one of the biggest engineering complexes in India,”said Naik.
