Japanese share prices opened higher on Wednesday with the benchmark Nikkei-225 index rising 11.39 points.

Japanese share prices opened higher on Wednesday with the benchmark Nikkei-225 index rising 11.39 points,or 0.13 per cent,to 8,499.69 in the first minute of trading.
