Copper weakened by Rs 2 per kg in the local non-ferrous metal market today on sluggish demand at higher levels amid a weakening global trend.
Traders said sluggish demand from consuming industries and reports of a weak trend in overseas markets mainly helped copper prices to trade lower.
In the national capital,copper mixed scrap weakened by Rs 2 to Rs 400 per kg.

Lead ingot 136,lead imported 134,aluminium ingots 131,sheet cutting 132,aluminium wire scrap 138 and aluminium utensils scrap 131.
