Bike-borne men snatch woman’s purse, mobile phones of 2 men in 3 separate incidents in Chandigarh

The police said the incidents took place in Sector 13’s Mani Majra, and in sectors 47 and 44. They are considering the possibility that the same gang was involved in all three incidents.

As per police data this year, till April 20, a total of 3,063 cases of snatching were reported as compared to 2,899 in the same period last year; 890 robbery incidents took place this year as compared to 735 last year.
