Street dogs maul kid to death

Ajnala, Jan 11 (ANI): In a shocking incident, a three-year-old boy was killed by a pack of street dogs by constant clawing in a village in Ajnala town of Punjab. The victim, Angad Veer was playing outside his residence when the stray dogs attacked him. The deceased was the only child of his parents. Alerted by screaming of the child, residents rushed out to rescue him but large number of wild dogs tried to attack them too.Veer was rushed to a nearby hospital in Ajnala, where doctors declared him brought dead.The villagers alleged government failure in keeping a check on the growing population of stray dogs despite many cases of dog menace.
