Ramapati Ram Tripathi, born on November 14, 1950, in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, is a known figure in Indian politics, associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Tripathi's early life was in the village of Jhudia, within a farming family. He pursued his education in Ayurvedic medicine and surgery, graduating from SNYA Medical College, Bhagalpur, Bihar. Tripathi was also actively involved in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) from a young age.
His political career began in the student union, where he was elected General Secretary at Mahatma Gandhi Post Graduate College, Gorakhpur, in 1969.
