Kane Williamson

New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson will lead Sunrisers Hyderabad after Australia's David Warner was earlier banned from playing the 11th edition of IPL along with Australia captain Steve Smith in the wake of the ball-tampering scandal. Williamson has a good captain experience as he has been leading New Zealand for quite sometime. The Williamson-led Kiwi side tasted success against England in Tests at home. Williamson began his cricketing career against India in an ODI in August 2010 while donned the Test jersey against the same opposition later that year. Since, his Test debut, Williamson has scored 5338 runs in 65 matches averaging 50.35 including 18 hundreds. In ODIs, the right-hander has represented New Zealand in 127 matches scoring 5156 runs at an average of 46.87. The Blackcaps skipper has been a part of IPL in three seasons where he has played 15 and has scored 411 runs.
