She is the youngest person to receive four Academy Award nominations. Jennifer Lawrence is known for being a vocal advocate of gender equality. Jennifer Lawrence famous roles include her starring as Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games film series (2012–2015) which established her as the highest-grossing action heroine of all time. She has earned several accolades from her collaborations with director David O. Russell. She won an Academy Award for Best Actress for playing a depressed widow in the romantic drama Silver Linings Playbook making her the second youngest Best Actress Oscar winner.
