Bharat bandh unlikely to disrupt life in Karnataka, bus, metro services to operate normally in Bengaluru

The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) and Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) services are unlikely to be affected since the management of both corporations have warned their employees of disciplinary action if they participated in the nationwide strike.

The Centre for Indian Trade Unions- labour wing of the CPM - observed a three-hour transport strike from noon today in protest against the hike in petrol prices by the Union government.
