BLO dies on duty in UP, family blames SIR work

Sarvesh Kumar Gangwar, a resident of Karmachari Nagar in Bareilly and posted as a primary school teacher in Pardhauli village, collapsed inside the school while on duty. He was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him dead.

Urs of Rais Miyan in Bareilly district

Bareilly, Mar 01 (ANI): A two-day Urs of Hazrat Miya Chisti, also known as Urs-e-Chisti, is the biggest Urs observed in Bareilly. It was attended by thousands of devotees who came from different parts of the country to pay their respects to the saint, and seek his blessings. Devotees from different regions together held the sacred cloth in memory of the Spiritual Saint. The teary-eyed believers offered silent prayers at the shrine and sought the saint's blessings. The chanting of Quran verses on the occasion made for a peaceful atmosphere. A special offering was also distributed among the devotees, who consider it to be a cure for several diseases. A religious Qawalli in the memory of the Saint was also offered on the occasion. Qawwali is a form of Sufi devotional music which is performed mainly at Sufi shrines or Dargahs throughout South Asia. It is one of the musical traditions date back to more than 700 years.

Bareilly, Jan 21 (ANI): The city of Bareilly located in India’s northern state of Uttar Pradesh recently observed the Urs of Sharafat miya. It was attended by thousands of devotees who came from different parts of the country to pay their respects to the saint, and seek his blessings. Sharafat miya was a revered Sufi saint in the region, who preached the teachings of unity, peace and harmony among the people. The city of Bareilly is known for its rich culture and heritage, especially the Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb or the culture of religious harmony. The mausoleum is respected by one and all, as it is believed that Allah answers all prayers and wishes.Sufism in India stands for goodwill and unity among the people. An example of it was well witnessed here.
