Anurag Sharma is a political leader from Uttar Pradesh and a member of the Bhartiya Janata Party. He is the incumbent Member of Parliament from Uttar Pradesh’s Jhansi Lok Sabha constituency. He was born on November 16, 1964, in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh.

He was born into a Rajasthani family with a rich legacy in Ayurveda. His father, the Late Vaidyaraj Pt. Ramnarayan Sharma was the Founder and Managing Director of Shree Baidyanath Ayurved Bhawan Pvt. Ltd. His educational journey includes a modest start with an internship at Shakti Offset and a Chartered Accountant firm, eventually leading to his pivotal role at Baidyanath Jhansi Branch as Chief Executive. His academic qualifications and professional experiences have laid a strong foundation for his successful career.

In 2019, he ventured into politics by running for the Lok Sabha seat from the Jhansi Constituency and was victorious as a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate, earning an astounding 365,682 votes. His dedication to adequately serving his constituents and attending to their concerns has been evident during his time as an MP.
