Jat row: Haryana CM offers compensation for innocents killed

Rohtak (Haryana), Feb 23 (ANI): Breaking his silence after the seven-day long agitation by the Jat community, Haryana Chief Minister ML Khattar on Tuesday offered compensation for the innocents killed in the reservation violence. Khattar added that a committee will also be formed to probe the lapses of police personnel and other district officials regarding the same.

Surat, Jan 21 (ANI): Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) leader Hardik Patel was taken to the Surat district court early today. Hardik’s advocate Jaswant Wada said that Hardik had written a letter to the people stating the solution lies with the government and if the Patel community stood at a disadvantage, then he would continue the agitation against the Gujarat Government. Surat police had earlier submitted a 44-page chargesheet against Hardik in a case related to blockade of highway near Kamrej last year.
