The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2016 has been set up to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to 92 institutes for the academic year 2016-17. This includes 22 IITs, ISM, 31 NITs, 20 IIITs and 18 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs). Admission to all the academic programs offered by these Institutes will be made through a single platform.

Kerala HSC, VHSE results 2016: The results of higher secondary and vocational higher secondary examinations (VHSE) in Kerala is declared at 3 pm today. The HSC exam was held between March 9 and March 29, 2016. A total of 4,60,743 students had appeared for the examination out of which 2,14,012 were boys and 2,18,748 were girls.

BSEB Class 12 results 2016: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has declare the Inter Science results. This year, the pass percentage in the examination was 67.06% against last year’s 89.32%. Moreover, 21.77% students secured first division in comparison to last year’s 49.17%.

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) declared the results of Class 10 (Madhyamik) examination on Tuesday, May 10. The Madhyamik Pariksha for class 10 students was held from February 1 to 10, 2016. Over 10 lakh students have appeared for the examination.

JEE Main 2016: Nearly 40,000 girls have qualified for the JEE (Advanced) test while the rest are boys, according to data released by CBSE. Around two lakh candidates cleared the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2016 for admission to IITs and other top engineering colleges, the results of which were declared by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on April 27.

Kerala's Class 10th exams SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) results is declared on April 27 at 11 am on the official website. This year, the pass percentage is 96.59 which is comparatively two per cent less than the previous year’s 98.57 per cent. As many as 1,207 schools scored 100 per cent pass. The Pathanamthitta district registered the highest pass percentage (99.04) while Wayanad scored the lowest percentage (92.3).

The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has declared the results of Class 10th examination on April 28. The students need to log on to http://www.cgbse.nic.in or http://www.cgbse.net to check the results. Over 2 lakh students have appeared for the examination that was started on February 24. The Class 10th exams ended on March 4.

The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha has announced the results of the annual High School Certificate (HSC) examinations.As many as 6,01,348 students have appeared for the HSC examinations held at 2,882 centres across the state from February 22 to March 4. As many as 16,000 teachers participated in the evaluation of answer sheets.

The pass percentage of government schools was 42.25 per cent, government-aided schools 55.92 per cent, and of private schools 50.99 per cent. Students of schools in rural areas witnessed pass percentage of 50.38 per cent while those in the urban areas recorded 45.30 per cent pass percentage.

The UP Basic Education Board has declared the results of Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET). The exam was conducted on February 2, 2016.
