After the video of IndiGo ground staff assaulting and manhandling a passenger at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International airport went viral, memes, fake Jet Airways advertisement posters and sarcastic jibes were quick to follow on the Internet. But it seems an opportunistic Twitter user decided to bring his troll game a notch higher and took to tweeting to the airline, on the pretext of asking for help. Well, technically, he really seemed like he was in the need of assistance. The man, who goes by the username Rohitchoube on the micro-blogging site, wrote to the airlines’ Twitter handling team — “@IndiGo6E I need help for tomorrow’s mumbai delhi flight…Can somebody please respond ..”. He tweeted out to them again, which is when they responded with “Hi, Rohit. How may we assist you?” And guess what the urgent help he needed from the airline was? He wanted them to beat up his boss who was travelling to Delhi by the 3 pm flight!
And just like that, he earned himself the status of an overnight Twitter star.
