In the mega event on Smackdown Live on Tuesday night, newly reunited The Wyatts came together to end the good run of Kane and Randy Orton in an intense showdown. Also on feature was AJ Styles against a surprise challenger in James Ellsworth with Dean Ambrose playing the role of the guest referee.
To make things even more interesting for the upcoming week, Ellsworth has been handed a title match against Styles after he, somehow, got the better of AJ this week. Other matches scheduled for next week see Alexa Bliss, No 1 contender for the Women’s Championship, take on Naomi. Further, Baron Corbin will take on Jack Swagger in a No Mercy rematch!
But on Tuesday night, Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper teamed up together to take on Orton and Kane in the marquee contest. In what was an aggressive contest, the two teams went at each other but just as Kane and Orton looked to continue their strong form, a freak light outage allowed The Wyatts to capitalise. Kane disappeared from the apron and was replaced by Harper. This allowed Wyatt to jump in and pin Orton after delivering a Sister Abigail.
