Famous Qawwali artist Amjad Sabri shot dead in Pakistan

The two injured men were quickly rushed to the nearby Abbasi Shaheed hospital where Sabri succumbed to his injuries

Sabri was part of the famous Sabri brothers whose Qawwali renditions have become part of the cultural fabric of Pakistan.

Tributes poured in from all quarters for the singer.
