Will reconvert 50 lakh people to Hinduism, India will remain a Hindu Rashtra: Togadia

“Had there been no conversion, nobody would have ever heard of Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan", he said.

VHP’s international working president Praveen Togadia Wednesday said in the next 10 years, at least 50 lakh people would be “reconverted to Hinduism and this country would remain a Hindu rashtra”. He was addressing the second Virat Hindu Sammelan here, in Birbhum district of West Bengal. The district shares border with Jharkhand and is a tribal-dominated area where Christian missionaries are active. “Had there been no conversion, nobody would have ever heard of Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Imam Bukhari. Had there been no conversion, there would have been no need for ghar wapsi,” said Togadia. “India would not have been divided, if there was no conversion. Pakistan and Bangladesh would not have come to existence too. My message to those, who are criticising ghar wapsi — Bring anti-conversion bill, we will support,” he said.
