Delhi’s air quality remained in the ‘severe’ category on Monday, with the city recording an average AQI of 373 at 7 AM, as per AQI.in.
According to the Air Quality Early Warning System for Delhi, relief is unlikely, with the air quality expected to remain in the ‘Very Poor’ category over the coming week due to unfavourable meteorological conditions.
The current PM10 level in New Delhi as per AQI.in based on the average air quality level across the city is 283 µg/m³, so everyone should take precautions.
Kashmiri Gate recorded an AQI of 409, Shalimar Bagh was at 401 while Jahangirpuri was at 404. Safdarjung enclave recorded high levels at 435.

According to CPCB standards, an AQI between 0 and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51–100 ‘satisfactory’, 101–200 ‘moderate’, 201–300 ‘poor’, 301–400 ‘very poor’ and 401–500 ‘severe’.
