Pawan Kalyan turns 46 on September 2, the actor has got a special gift for his fans
Actor Pawan Kalyan’s yet-untitled upcoming Telugu film, which was launched earlier, is reportedly the official remake of Ajith Kumar-starrer Tamil blockbuster “Veeram”.
As actor Pawan Kalyan turns 46 on September 2, the actor has got a special gift for his fans. The title of power star Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming Telugu film, a remake of Tamil blockbuster Veeram, was revealed as Katamarayudu. The makers announced the title to mark the special occasion.
In an official statement, the makers confirmed the title as Katamarayudu, inspired from the song Pawan sang in his 2013 Telugu blockbuster, Attarintiki Daaredhia. In the film, Pawan will be seen as a Rayalaseema factionist who is unlucky in love.
“On the eve of #PSPK Pawan Kalyan’s birthday Northstar Entertainment proudly announces the title of d film under production as Katamarayudu (sic),” producer Sharrath Marar posted on Twitter.
He went on to add, “#Katamarayudu title poster will be released post-midnight celebrating #PSPK birthday!!” There was immediate reaction of the star’s fans on social media. #Katamarayudu and #HBDPawanKalyan were among the top trends on the Twitter.
The film’s shooting, which commenced last month and was subsequently delayed due to the actor’s political commitments, will resume from this month. To be helmed by Kishore Kumar Pardasani who is called Dolly, the project will feature Shruti Haasan as the leading lady.
In the year 1996, Pawan Kalyan entered the Telegu film industry. Film critics and film buffs treated him more like the younger brother of Chiranjeevi. Back then, it was unimaginable to think that in future, the man would soon carve his own identity and form a fan base completely by his own strength.
