English rock band The Rolling Stones have released a message to fans online. In the clip, lead singer Mick Jagger thanks fans who came to see the band play live in 2014.
“We’ve had a fabulous time on the ’14 On Fire’ tour this year,” he said. Guitarist Ronnie Wood then expressed his gratitude for the “1,159,882” people who have come to see them perform this year.
The Rolling Stones recently paid tribute to late saxophonist Bobby Keys, who passed away earlier this month. Bruce Springsteen joined The Rolling Stones on stage for their headlining show in Lisbon back in May.
The band rescheduled Australian and New Zealand tour dates following the death of Jagger’s girlfriend, fashion designer L’Wren Scott earlier this year.
