Delhi Air Quality Index (AQI) Level Today, 3 December 2025: Parts of Delhi were enveloped in a thick layer of haze on Wednesday morning, with the air quality hovering between ‘very poor’ and ‘severe’ categories over the past few days.

Delhi recorded an average AQI of 376, at 7 am, according to the Air Quality Early Warning Systems (EWS).

Nehru Nagar recorded the highest air quality index (AQI) in the ‘severe’ category at 436, followed by 431 in Chandni Chowk, 420 in R K Puram, and 415 in Rohini, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data.

Here’s a list of areas where AQI remained in the ‘severe’ and ‘very poor’ categories, as of 7 am today:

AQI in NCR

Noida recorded an AQI of 406, as per the Sector 125 monitoring station, the CPCB data noted at 7 am. Meanwhile, the AQI in Greater Noida remained at 372.

Gurgaon, meanwhile, recorded an AQI of 352, as per EWS data at 7 am.

The air quality was recorded to be ‘severe’ in Ghaziabad, with an AQI of 405 at Indirapuram monitoring station, and 436 at Loni.

Mumbai AQI: In Mumbai, the air quality remained significantly better, with an AQI of 130, according to the EWS.

According to CPCB standards, an AQI between 0 and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51–100 ‘satisfactory’, 101–200 ‘moderate’, 201–300 ‘poor’, 301–400 ‘very poor’ and 401–500 ‘severe’.
