President Kim Kardashian next: Hollywood ‘terrified’ at Donald Trump’s victory
Donald Trump has been elected the 45th President of the United States of America. Hollywood stars Chris Evans, Jessica Chastain and Amanda Seyfried called his win embarrassing and terrifying.
Donald Trump’s Presidential win hasn’t gone down well with Hollywood celebrities. While Cher compared him to toilet, Jessica Chastain called it the rock bottom.
Hollywood celebrities have expressed shock over billionaire businessman Donald Trump’s surprise win over seasoned politician Hillary Clinton in the knife-edge US Presidential elections. Trump, a former reality star, who has hosted “The Apprentice”, swept Clinton in battleground states like Florida, North Carolina and Ohio.

Many celebrities had openly backed Clinton and they have now taken to social media to share their despair. Kunal Nayyar, the Indo-American star of “The Big Bang Theory” expressed fear over Trump’s election win. “Never in 15 years of living In this country have I ever felt afraid to look like I do. #immigrant,” he wrote.
Veteran singer Cher tweeted, “World will never be the same. I feel Sad for the young. (Donald) will never be more than the toilet, I’ve used as a symbol for Him. You can’t Polish.”
“The positive element from all this is that we can no longer pretend that we are free of racism & sexism. The question is, what do we do now?” wrote actress Jessica Chastain. Actress Amanda Seyfried said with this result, US has hit “rock bottom”. “Maybe this is rock bottom and there’s no where to go but up,” she posted. “Well this is utterly terrifying,” wrote pop star Ariana Grande. “I am in tears,” she added.
“Captain America” star Chris Evans called Trump’s victory embarrassing. “This is an embarrassing night for America. We’ve let a hatemonger lead our great nation. We’ve let a bully set our course. I’m devastated.”
TV producer Shonda Rhimes, who has been vocal against Trump’s Presidential bid, expressed her disappointment. “Really, people? ANYONE can be President? ANYONE? ANY-ONE? No but seriously: THIS many of you don’t mind the body-part grabbing xenophobic man who says “there’s my black over there?”

Comedian-filmmaker Seth MacFarlane tweeted, “I truly cannot visualize the rambling, incoherent creature I saw at the debates now addressing the nation from the Oval Office.” he followed it up with, “Ain’t nowhere to go from here but President Kim Kardashian.”
“Frozen” star Josh Gad wrote, “I never thought I’d say this but boy do I miss George W Bush right now.” Commenting on Trump’s stand on minorities, actor Will Arnett wrote, “How do we explain this to future generations of women? And minorities?#weshouldbeashamedofourselves.”
“We are staring into the face of our darkest self America. Why does it have to have a dyed combover?” “Nashville” actress Connie Britton said. Trevor Noah added, “5 steps forward. 10 steps back.”
“Where is #OliviaPope when you need her?” singer Demi Lovato said, referring to Kerry Washington’s political crisis manager character from “Scandal”. Sports Illustrated model Chrissy Teigen tweeted, “I cannot believe this is real. I can’t believe Donald Trump has the honor of winning ANY state at all.”
Comedian-actress Sarah Silverman said, “Putin’s gonna win this thing.” Taking a dig at Trump’s promise to build a wall between the US and Mexico, Ricky Gervais wrote, “Canada has just started building a wall.”
