Ayushmann plays a Marathi scientist in Bambai Fairytale

Ayushmann Khurrana will be seen playing the role of a popular Maharashtrian scientist in a biopic.

We all know that Ayushmann Khurrana is doing a biopic,but our sources have confirmed that the actor will be seen playing the role of a popular Maharashtrian scientist in Vibhu Puri’s directorial debut,which is tentatively titled Bambai Fairytale. Khurrana will essay the role of Shivkar Bapuji Talpade,a scientist who had constructed and flown India’s first unmanned airplane in 1895. The actor recently finished shooting for his film with YRF and mentioned that he is excited about this project. “Yes,I will be playing a Maharashtrian scientist,which is a first for me. I am looking forward to this experience and we will start shooting for the film this month,” stated Khurrana. He will be paired opposite Pallavi Sharda,and one of the schedules of this film will be reportedly set in Mumbai. For now,Khurrana will be focusing on Bambai Fairytale,as Shoojit Sircar’s Hamara Bajaj is slated to go on the floors early next year.
