The measures have been taken in the wake of the recent attack on a 20-year-old college student on a street in Sadashiv Peth. On Wednesday, MCASC was bustling with students, new applicants, parents and staff.
By Tuesday evening, a total of 6,398 students were admitted in round 2, which began on June 27. Wednesday is the last day to secure admission as per seats allotted in round 2 in the 326 participating colleges.
One of the most attractive exhibits was a 1.5-metre drone which is used for irrigating fields. Brought straight from Shindawane village in Pune, where it is in use, the drone is fixed with a water tank of capacity up to 15 litre.
