Anju is a Jalandhar (Punjab)-based Assistant Editor with The Indian Express. Coming from this predominantly agrarian state from where the Green Revolution ushered, agriculture is close to her heart. She writes extensively on this topic, with special focus on related issues that the state is facing such as farmer suicides, stubble burning, rapid depletion of water table because of water-guzzling, MSP-supported paddy, etc. Her write-ups are based on extensive research, field visits and interactions with stake-holders.
