Yu Yureka has managed to deliver a slightly better spec sheet, good looks and other goodies with Cyanogen at Rs 1000 less than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G. Yu Yureka wins: 1.5GHz octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 CPU, CyanogenMod 11S based on Android 4.4 OS, dual SIM, light weight (155 grams), back cover with moonstoon finishing Redmi Note 4G wins: 3100 mAh battery

Display battle: Both the smartphones sport a 5.5-inch 720p screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The display quality of both the devices are equally good at the sub Rs 10,000 price range. The Yureka offers better one-handed operability.

Design battle: Yureka wins it. The device looks better than the Redmi Note 4G. We found the Redmi Note 4G bulky (199 grams) and a bit too plasticky.

Yu Yureka will also sell rear covers separately in future. The brand has already showcased an original leather back cover.

Online service: Yu Yureka is offering a sort of online after sales service. Users can get someone to pick their Yureka from their doorsteps and then get it delivered after servicing. The pick and drop of device is complimentary. Xiaomi users will have to visit service centres.

The Redmi Note 4G is powered by a 3100mAh battery while the Yureka is powered by a 2500mAh battery. Yureka sports two SIM card slots while the Redmi Note has one. Both supports 4G connectivity.

Both the smartphones come with a 13MP auto focus rear camera and a 5MP front camera.

Both the smartphones are based on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. If you want an easy-to-use UI then the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G is recommended. Cyanogen (in Yureka) is dedicated to those who like to customise everything and make the smartphone really personal.

The Tuesday war: It seems both the brands will sell through flash sales every Tuesdays. The Yu Yureka will be available on Amazon.in while the Redmi Note 4G at Flipkart.
