Family-run fake call centre busted in Delhi

The Cyber Police Station in North district claimed to have busted a fake call centre in Sangam Vihar, allegedly run by family members posing as loan and insurance agents. The action followed a complaint by a victim who was cheated of Rs 36,050 on the pretext of an instant loan.

Police said technical analysis of CDRs, IMEI data and money trails led to the raid and arrest of one Suresh Kumar. His children were found managing operations. Police recovered mobiles, laptops and landlines.
