The new Sony Bravia X75 TV series comes with a starting price of Rs 59,990, which is for the 43-inch version. The 50-inch version will cost you Rs 72,990. The new Sony Smart Android TV comes with Ultra-HD HDR screens with 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and support for HDR10 and HLG formats for high dynamic range content. It even features Dolby Audio, and a Sony X1 4K HDR processor. The Android TV ships with Google Play Store and you also access to popular OTT apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Disney+ Hotstar, and more. It supports built-in Chromecast and Google Assistant as well as Bluetooth connectivity. In terms of connectivity, the television has three HDMI ports, two USB ports, and other options.
Canon has launched three new RF lenses - the RF100mm f/2.8L IS USM, RF400mm f/2.8L IS USM and RF600mm f/4L IS USM. The RF100mm f/2.8L IS USM is the world’s first medium telephoto macro lens with a maximum shooting magnification of 1.4x. The RF400mm f/2.8L IS USM and RF600mm f/4L IS USM telephoto lenses are native to the RF mount and offer "professional and advanced amateurs with extra reach that comes with a high level of image quality, reliability and durability," Canon said. The company is also developing the new EOS R3 full-frame mirrorless camera, which will sport the new 35mm full-frame, backlit, stacked CMOS sensor and a DIGIC X image processor. The new camera is designed to provide high-level basic functionality required to meet the needs of professional and enthusiast users. This will be Canon’s first digital camera to have Eye Control AF functionality, which will enable the AF frame to adjust according to detected movement of the user’s eye, so that users will get smoother shots with quick focus. It will feature a dust and water resistance body design too.
Logitech also unveiled its latest the Voice M380 Wireless Mouse, priced at CNY 199 (approximately Rs 2,300. It is compatible with Windows 7 and above versions. Interestingly, it features a voice button, which users can use to dictate text and the mouse will translate it to text by using speech recognition tech. The mouse supports English, French, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, and Thai languages. Additionally, the company says that its new mouse can dictate around 400 words per minute, and has a 98 percent accuracy rate. Logitech says the product offers precise cursor control as well as a comfortable rubber grip. It can take voice inputs from a distance of 10m.
Panasonic has launched a new Toughbook FZ-55 laptop, which is priced at Rs 1,49,000 (excluding taxes). It runs on Windows 10 Pro and comes with a 14-inch full-HD display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, up to an Intel Core i7-8665U vPro processor, and a 2MP webcam, paired with an Infrared (IR) sensor and a privacy shutter. Connectivity options include three USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, rugged USB 2.0, HDMI, Serial, VGA, and LAN ports. The device even has microSDXC card slot and a DVD/ Blu-ray drive. The laptop even ships with three years of warranty.
The Amazon Echo Buds (2nd Gen) has been launched for $119.99 (approximately Rs 9,000). It features a vented design to reduce in-ear pressure and offer a better fit. Each earbud has a 5.7mm dynamic driver to deliver "balanced sound with extended dynamic range." They offer Amazon's custom ANC technology, which "uses the inner and outer microphones to intelligently estimate sound pressure in the eardrum to generate the inverse of that signal and cancel out unwanted noise." The TWS earbuds also have a Passthrough mode, which lets you listen to the ambient sound. It is IPX4 rated for sweat resistance. Amazon claims users will get up to 5 hours of music playback on a single charge with ANC and up to 19.5 hours battery life with the charging case.
Lastly, Oppo has launched a budget phone and it is priced at CNY 1,299 (approximately Rs 14,900). The Oppo A35 packs a 6.52inch HD+ IPS LCD 60Hz display, a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, 4,320mAh battery, a micro-USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The triple rear camera layout includes a 13MP primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, there is an 8MP sensor.
Sony has launched 32W830 Smart Android LED TV in India, and it will cost you Rs 31,900. The television has support for HDR, and Google Assistant for hands-free controls. The TV has a display resolution of 1366x768 pixels. It ships with Google Chromecast built-in, three HDMI ports, two USB ports, a 3.5mm audio output, and Bluetooth 4.2 for wireless audio connectivity. It offers support for HDMI ARC and 20W sound output from the stereo speaker system. It features 16GB of internal storage, and Sony's X-Reality Pro picture processing technology as well.
