Hope and despair inside a Covid-19 isolation centre in Delhi

Delhi is witnessing an upsurge in Covid cases with the second wave of infections overwhelming the hospitals and isolation wards.

All 250 ICU beds at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Covid Hospital in Delhi Cantt were filled up within a day of its opening, as cases in Delhi continued to soar. In pic, Covid-19 patients at an isolation centre at CWG in New Delhi on Tuesday.

As the disease force the patients to be in isolation, the healthcare workers are fighting on to cater to their needs and keep them company.
