Amir to file appeal statement

Lahore: Mohammad Amir is expected to file a statement with the CAS for his appeal against the five-year ban to be heard at the earliest. The pacer,who returned to Pakistan on Sunday after serving a sentence for his role in the spot-fixing,spent the whole day consulting with his lawyer Sajida Malik. Malik has accompanied Amir to ensure that she is present when the PCB calls the pacer and also to prepare for the CAS appeal hearing.
