(AP Photo/ File) Alphabet-owned YouTube has been down for thousands of users globally, including in the United States, Australia, Canada and the UK, according to Downdetector.
YouTube acknowledged the glitch on Wednesday and said on its status page that it is aware of users experiencing issues watching videos, and added that it is investigating the issue. However, it was not immediately clear what caused the outage of the streaming platform.
