SpaceX said in a social media post that the Falcon 9 second stage deployed the 29 satellites one hour and five minutes after launch. (Source: YouTube/@NASASpaceflight)SpaceX launched another batch of its Starlink broadband satellites on Tuesday evening. This was its first early-evening Starlink launch since the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) lifted restrictions on commercial launches due to the recent US government shutdown.
The company launched 29 Starlink satellites on Tuesday at 7.12 pm EST (5.42 am IST Wednesday) from pad 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. The Starlink 6-94 mission marked the 99th launch from the Florida spaceport this year.

The FAA had limited commercial launches to post-10 pm EST slots as it managed air traffic staffing during the shutdown. Government missions did not fall under the curfew. SpaceX scheduled its last two Starlink launches on November 14 and 15 after 10 pm EST to meet the rule. The agency ended the curfew on Monday, reopening earlier launch windows.
Meteorologists with the 45th Weather Squadron on Monday issued a forecast showing a 95 per cent probability of acceptable launch conditions.
After liftoff, the Falcon 9 moved on a south-easterly trajectory. Falcon 9 booster B1085, making its 12th flight, landed on the drone ship ‘A Shortfall of Gravitas’, stationed in the Atlantic east of the Bahamas.
