A double-decker bus crashed into a bus stop in Stockholm on Friday, killing three people and injuring three others, police said.
A spokesperson for Stockholm’s rescue services told Reuters that six people were involved, but did not say how many had died or how many were injured. The spokesperson also said there were no passengers on the bus when the crash happened.

“It is being investigated as involuntary manslaughter. The bus driver has been arrested, but that is routine in such an incident,” a police spokesperson said. The spokesperson added that police had no indication of an attack.

Police said they would not release details about the number, gender or ages of the victims. Emergency services, police and ambulances were working at the scene.
The crash took place near the Royal Institute of Technology, police said.
“We do not yet know the cause of this, but right now my thoughts are with those who have been affected and their families,” Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson said in a post on X.
