Seven terror convicts were hanged on Tuesday in jails across Pakistan, including a junior technician at Pakistan Air Force (PAF) who was involved in the attack on former military ruler Pervez Musharraf.

In addition, Behram Khan was hanged in Karachi Central Prison for killing Advocate Mohammad Ashraf in a courtroom of the Sindh
High Court in April 2003. He was convicted by an anti-terrorism court in June 2003.

Zulfikar Ali was hanged at Adiala jail in Rawalpind. He was convicted of killing two policemen near the US Consulate General in Karachi.

Extraordinary security measures were taken around the jails, where death row prisoners were executed.
