Having gained fame for his mimicry on television shows like ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’, the 29-year-old from Rajasthan plans to contest against the PM as an independent candidate.
Rangeela’s decision stems from a desire to uphold the principles of democracy, asserting that his candidacy is not merely symbolic but a genuine effort to contribute to the political process.
Rangeela rose to prominence in 2017 with his widely acclaimed impersonation of PM Modi. Since then, he has continued to make videos mimicking the PM in various settings, including interviews, speeches, and everyday encounters. Notable among these are videos addressing topics such as petrol prices.
Born and raised in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan, Rangeela pursued a course in animation. His journey in comedy, fuelled by a lifelong passion for humour, culminated in his television debut, where his talent for mimicry garnered widespread acclaim. In addition to impersonating PM Modi, Rangeela also incorporates impressions of other political figures such as Rahul Gandhi into his repertoire, further solidifying his status as a beloved comedic figure with a dedicated fan base.
