Executed at a cost of ₹37 crore by the state government, the bowstring arch bridge is a substantial investment in Kanyakumari’s tourist infrastructure.

It is 77 meters long and 10 meters wide and connects the Vivekananda Memorial to the Thiruvalluvar statue in the Kanniyakumari district.

It is ideally located and encompasses the meeting point of the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal, and the Indian Ocean, offering a 360-degree panoramic view.
