Tweaking the lyrics of Bollywood song “Bulleya” from the movie “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” to mock the life of a corporate employee, a young woman’s satire has gone viral on social media.

From tough Key Responsibility Area (KRA) to lack of work-life balance, the young woman encapsulated career woes in her satire.

The clip shared by Railway bureaucrat Ananth Rupanagudi shows her sitting in an office space and jamming with a microphone. In a tune similar to that of “Bulleya”, she sings out the struggles of a corporate job, such as making presentations, attending Zoom meetings, finishing tasks quickly and meeting deadlines. “Family ka pyar Bulleya Weekend Yaar bulleya Ghar ki deewar Bulleya,” she sings. As she concludes her song, she also pours out her emotions saying she has forgotten to breathe and pleads with the HR to give an appraisal.

“Corporate life – a satire using this popular song! 😀😛😂 #corporate #life,” read the caption of the clip. Since being shared on Friday, the clip has amassed more than 4,600 views on Twitter. While several users laughed out loud over the woman’s satire, some others opposed her views.

A third user wrote, “Such people who crib should become an entrepreneur and they will value every rupee earned. I pity the organisations which hire’s them. #corporate #life.”
