It has become common for content creators to grab eyeballs online by dancing on public transport. One such online video of a woman dancing on a jampacked local train has, however, not gone down well with netizens.
Saheli Rudra, from Kolkata, posted the video on her Instagram account (@_sahelirudra_) a few days ago. Wearing a white shirt and torn jeans, she is seen dancing to the Bhojpuri song “Saj Ke Sawar Ke” by Khesari Lal Yadav and Priyanka Singh. While most passengers ignore her performance, a few others record it on their mobiles.

“Dislike button,” an Instagram user commented. “Making reels should be banned in local trains and stations. Wtf is wrong with the people nowadays?” said another. “This should amount to mental harassment,” wrote a third. “The uncle behind is Traumatized for life,” said a fourth.
A woman named Sreya Roy has been going viral for her dance videos in public places. In a video posted a few days ago, she is seen dancing to the same Bhojpuri song on a local train.

In October, a video of a man, purportedly a lookalike of Bollywood star Salman Khan, dancing inside a Mumbai local train surfaced online. A page called Mumbai Matters (@mumbaimatterz) posted the clip on X, formerly Twitter.
Wearing a blue t-shirt tucked into black denims and a bandana, the man is seen imitating Khan’s dance as he performs to the song “No Entry–Ishq Di Galli Vich”, which was a part of the 2005 film No Entry.
