In a video winning hearts on Instagram, Fischer has highlighted the cultural differences and the eight ways his life has changed in India.
In the viral video, Fischer says he now has more flavours in his food and can read Hindi, drive on the left side, fit more people on a bicycle, and much more. He added that people address him as Sir, Uncle, “bhaiya” or “beta” and even “Suno”. “Moving to a different country comes with a lot of changes. Here are 8 ways my life changed after moving from the US to India,” Fischer captioned the video.

With over 35,000 views, the video has attracted numerous reactions. An Instagram user wrote, “Fitting more kids on the cycle is I believe a good culture shock and at the same time fun to cover short distance.” Another user commented, “Lovely to see how you hv blended in this beautiful country. It is really fun once you accept the changes and embrace the culture.”
However, many others talked about the “cons” of living in India, including road-rage incidents. “Have you ever faced road rage incident, I heard it’s a lot of common in Delhi,” a user wrote.
Fischer’s wife Kristen Fischer had posted a hilarious take on Indian English. In a video, she listed some words and expressions, like shifting for moving and dry fruits for nuts, that she said were unique to Indian English. The video garnered over a million views.
