Fan-made sign boards at IPL matches, at times, get much attention for their witty and bizarre messages. A similar poster made by an IPL match attendee is raking up likes.
The poster, held by a girl with her face covered, reads, “Don’t show me on camera my coworkers think I’m unwell”. Interestingly, another person standing on the right side of the woman holds a poster that points to her and says, “She is the Swiggy admin”.
The photo was posted online by Twitter user Shivani (@meme_ki_diwani). While sharing the now viral picture, she wrote, “Task failed successfully ”.

Commenting on the irony of the photo, a Twitter user wrote, “It’s a technique to be shown on camera ”. Another person said, “Cameraman didn’t get the assignment ”.
Swiggy, online food and grocery delivery company, also retweeted this and wrote, “Swiggy haters (me) will say it’s photoshopped”.
However, many people were bemused by the poster and noted that it appeared to be a planned moment marketing strategy employed by social media savvy brands.
Making this point, a Twitter user wrote, “Brands should keep their creativity to themselves instead of doing such collaboration with Twitter accounts. Ab bahut cringe lagne laga hai”. Another person said, “This is all corporate made… Interesting advertising strategy by @Swiggy to get publicity.”
