A point-of-view-style skit that shows scenes from the life of a crow is going viral online. The video, made by digital content creator Ankur Agarwal, shows him dressed in a black cloak pretending to be a crow. Agarwal (@ankur_agarwal_vines) refers to a popular fable about the crow and the pitcher and asks people to add water to his earthen water bowl, or else he will have to add pebbles in it. In his crisp video, he points to many myths such as that the cawing of the birds signals the arrival of guests. He also tries to mimic the movements of crows as he “flies” from one hedge to another and takes shelter inside an alcove when it rains. The Instagram video, titled “Just Indian Crow”, has got over 8.7 lakh likes since it was posted on August 7. In July, a video went viral that jokingly noted what it was like to be a “chill” street dog in India. The video, made by digital creator Anmol Babbarr, shows the day-to-day happenings in the life of an indifferent street dog. We get a glimpse of how the experienced stray dog deals with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi’s vaccination drives, navigates the fights for territory and expresses his disdain for pampered pet dogs. Babbarr’s video has gathered over 80,000 likes since it was posted on July 2. Praising Babbarr’s acute observations, an Instagram user commented, “You can actually read their minds o god now everytime i am out seeing some dog will relate for sure”.
